First Solar is not able to accommodate rooftop or residential applications at this time.

First Solar does not manufacture custom solar modules for unique installations such as solar for vehicles, water heater applications, aircraft, boats, etc.

First Solar modules are available for utility-scale, commercial & industrial (C&I), and distributed generation (DG) projects.

If you are a landowner and researching solar installations for your land, you will need to work directly with a solar project developer.

First Solar does not procure land or develop projects for land owners. First Solar does not sell solar modules directly to individuals for non-utility-scale projects.

North America

First Solar would be interested in discussing an annual procurement of single or bundled module orders for projects that are a total of 20 MW or larger. For projects that are smaller than 20 MW, you can contact our US distribution partners directly to inquire about First Solar modules.

First Solar manufacturers industry-leading thin film modules. We do not develop or construct projects.

First Solar does not provide operations and maintenance services for solar projects. You will need to work with a company that specializes in those services.
