Upon project completion in 2015, the 550MW (AC) Topaz Solar Farm will be the largest PV power plant in the world, providing energy to power 160,000 local homes, displacing 377,000 tons of carbon dioxide annually.
Upon project completion in 2013, Agua Caliente Solar Project will become the world’s largest operational PV solar power plant.
Strategically located near Los Angeles, the 230MW (AC) AV Solar Ranch 1 utilizes existing area resources and land to reduce environmental impacts on the region.
This southern Nevada project will make solar power history by demonstrating the ability to strategically leverage existing transmission infrastructure in utility-scale solar power plant development.
Located just minutes from the California/Nevada state border on 2,114 acres of Federal land managed by the Bureau of Land Management, Stateline Solar Farm will create about 400 construction jobs for the area and generate enough energy to power approximately 90,000 local homes.
