Project Overview
There is no disputing the Berlin Waterworks Solar Park’s commitment to conservation. Located partly within a nature reserve that provides clean drinking water to 26,000 Berliners, it also draws its electricity needs from the sun. The largest PV solar facility in Germany’s capital city is comprised of a 193kW rooftop plant and a 367kW ground-mounted plant, both taking advantage of First Solar technology to generate electricity with no air emissions, no waste production, and no water use.
