Project Overview
Working together with local businesses GEM Inc., JDRM Engineering, and LKL Engineering Ltd., First Solar installed three rooftop arrays over two buildings at the company’s Perrysburg, Ohio manufacturing facility. The partnership not only stimulated the local economy, but also continues to generate enough electricity to power approximately 240 average local homes, displacing 1,830 metric tons of carbon dioxide (CO2), the equivalent of taking 350 cars off the highways.
